Bayer Vayego - Insecticide

Vayego by Bayer is a powerful insecticide containing Tetraniliprole, offering broad-spectrum control against various pests (like borers, leaf folders, armyworms, beetles) across all life stages (egg to adult) in fruits, vegetables, and field crops. It works by disrupting calcium regulation, causing paralysis, and provides fast antifeedant action with long residual effects, minimizing crop damage while being relatively safe for beneficial insects, making it a strong tool for Integrated Pest Management (IPM). 

Key Features:

• Active Ingredient:

  Tetraniliprole 200 g/L (or 18.18% SC). 

• Mechanism:

  Acts on ryanodine receptors, causing calcium disruption, paralysis, and feeding cessation. 

• Spectrum:

  Effective against Lepidoptera (moths, caterpillars), beetles, and other chewing/sucking pests. 

• Benefits:

  Broad-spectrum, fast-acting, long-lasting, systemic (moves via xylem/translaminar), good for IPM, and reduces damage quickly. 

• Crops:

  Used in rice, soybean, pome fruits, stone fruits, almonds, potatoes, and more. 

How it Works:

1. Ingestion/Contact: Pests ingest or come into contact with Vayego.

2. Paralysis: The active ingredient, Tetraniliprole, disrupts calcium regulation in the insect's muscles.

3. Feeding Stops: Insects quickly stop feeding (within hours).

4. Death: Pests become paralyzed and die. 

Usage Notes:
